Stand out with stylish ladies bike panniers

Stylish ladies bike panniers - banish the black and grey!

There's no need to stick with boring black and grey colours when there are stylish ladies bike panniers with bright colours and bold designs!

At Chic à Vélo we create cycling apparel that makes you look great and we want your accessories to look fantastic too.

We've been searching out ladies bike panniers that are bold, exciting and great on and off a bike. This Dutch brand, Basil, caters for the same relaxed cycing lifestyle as we do - enjoy the journey rather than racing to the end! These panniers are so good you'll use them all the time and not just for cycling.

Great Panniers & Great Bags!

As always we have tried out all of the pannier bags - we never recommend what we don't use!

The pannier bags were crammed full of beach stuff as we rode along the French coast this summer and perfect for window shopping in our favourite Loire Valley town. These stylish ladies bike panniers bring admiring glances and plenty of questions from fellow cyclists. We use them as general bags too, so no need to have separate kit for the bikes anymore, which is brilliant.

The quality is impressive and they are not just pretty pannier bags - they are super functional as well. The attachment mechanism is easy to operate, so they attach to your pannier rack without problem. On our electric bikes we needed to add a ridge of tape to the pannier rack to stop the pannier moving forward on the rack - but this was the fault of the rack rather than the pannier bag.

Our verdict? These stylish ladies bike panniers prove that bike gear doesn't need to be boring and in shades of grey and black. The quality and practicality is high and they certainly look Chic à Vélo !

Chic à Vélo is inspired by our life here in the Loire Valley, France, where we have run relaxed cycling holidays for over ten years at Loire Life Cycling. For the clients we hosted, and the relaxed style of cycling they enjoyed, there was no-one creating cycling apparel that was as good to wear off a bike as on it.
